Once again, America’s own courts are standing in the way of putting our citizens first. A judge in Massachusetts just put the brakes on stripping away Temporary Protected Status for Somali immigrants, keeping the revolving door of special treatment wide open. This move ignores the real struggles of hardworking Americans and hand-delivers another win to the open-borders crowd. Does anyone care about American security anymore, or is the point to bow to every demand by globalist elites?
Temporary Protected Status (or TPS) was never meant to be a lifetime pass into the land of the free. It was supposed to be, well, temporary—basic common sense. But over and over, activists and activist judges work overtime to turn “temporary” into “forever.” It’s hard to blame folks for not taking our immigration laws seriously when our own government treats them like a joke.
While everyday Americans face rising crime, sky-high housing costs, and schools bursting at the seams, the left bends over backward to prioritize the needs of anyone but U.S. citizens. Liberal politicians love to preach about “compassion” from the comfort of their walled-off mansions. What about the millions of Americans left footing the bill?
This case out of Massachusetts is more proof that the progressive agenda doesn’t end at our borders—it bulldozes them. The elites act like enforcing our laws is the real crime and label anyone who demands accountability as cruel and heartless. Of course, it’s easy to play the humanitarian card when you’re not the one competing for jobs, hospital beds, or public safety.
Enough is enough. It’s time for our judges and lawmakers to get serious about keeping American interests front and center. Why should foreigners get special favors while regular Americans keep getting the short end of the stick? Maybe the next court ruling should be a reality check—America first, or America forgotten?
