America has a new obsession: Ozempic. People are lining up for it, hiding their prescriptions like they’re sneaking candy into church, all while the liberal left pretends there’s a big moral debate here. Let’s get one thing straight—nobody should be bullied or shamed for wanting to get healthier. But let’s not ignore who’s really trying to make people feel guilty. It isn’t the average hardworking American. It’s the elite liberal influencers, the busybodies who want to police what we eat, what we say, and even what we take to control our own health.
The left is quick to hand out participation trophies, but suddenly, if someone wants to use their own money—or insurance—to get healthier, they want to start a guilt trip. Where was all this hand-wringing when they pushed “body positivity” campaigns down our throats? Now, with Ozempic, the same crowd whines about “fairness” and “authenticity.” The hypocrisy is thick enough to slice with a knife.
Let’s face it, if this were some globalist scheme, pumping America full of sugar-filled snacks, the libs would applaud. But here’s a medicine actually helping people lose weight and fight diabetes, and suddenly they want to shame folks for using it. That’s typical backwards leftist logic—confuse people until nobody knows which way is up. Don’t let them.
Americans have always been about freedom—freedom to make their own choices, manage their own bodies, and protect their own health. The radical left only cares about control. They want government in your kitchen, in your doctor’s office, and in your medicine cabinet. Who are they to judge your personal health decisions?
So let’s stop pretending this is some high-minded moral issue. It’s just another excuse for liberals to virtue signal and tell ordinary people how to live. Regular Americans shouldn’t feel a lick of shame for doing what’s best for themselves and their families. Maybe the woke crowd could learn something about minding their own business. Or is that too much individual responsibility for them to handle?
