Eric Swalwell just can’t seem to follow the rules like the rest of us. While the wannabe governor claims he’s your average guy representing Livermore, word has it he’s shacking up in just one rented room in the area—if he’s even there at all. Meanwhile, it looks like he spends more time at luxury hotels than in the place he’s supposed to call “home.” How is that for representing the people?
This is classic liberal behavior: promise one thing, do the opposite, and expect nobody to notice. Voters think they’re getting someone who understands their challenges—skyrocketing rent, crime, homelessness—but in reality, Swalwell is hanging out at fancy spots far from the day-to-day struggles of his district. Maybe if his address matched his lifestyle, he might actually see the state his policies have left California in.
Let’s face it, liberals like Swalwell love to talk about the people, but their actions show who they really care about—their own power and comfort. The rest of us play by the rules, pay taxes, and deal with dangerous streets while career politicians float from hotel to hotel, thinking they’re above it all. It’s no wonder working-class families feel ignored and betrayed.
If Swalwell wants to run California, he ought to start by living like a real Californian—not a part-time visitor with a VIP room key. When it comes time to cast a ballot, maybe voters should ask: if he’s barely around now, why on earth should he be trusted with even more responsibility? California deserves leaders who actually live—really live—among their constituents, not globalist elites who breeze in and out between photo ops.
Swalwell needs to decide: is he with the people, or is he just another self-serving liberal trying to climb the political ladder on empty promises? Maybe he should stick to hotel rooms—because he sure doesn’t belong in the governor’s mansion.
