Virginia Democrats are at it again, targeting law-abiding gun owners while making sure their own lives stay perfectly comfortable and protected. The state is quickly shaping up to be a testing ground for the radical left’s wildest anti-gun fantasies. We just watched a massive protest sweep the streets—thousands of patriots standing up against politicians who are clearly more worried about their next headline than keeping anyone actually safe.
It’s always the same dirty tricks with these liberals. They ram through a truckload of gun control laws and carve out special loopholes for themselves. So regular Virginians get hit with restrictions, while politicians in Richmond get to keep their own firearms close by. If you’re a lawmaker, it’s business as usual. If you’re a hardworking Virginian who wants to protect your family, you’re suddenly the problem. Nothing says hypocrisy quite like passing laws for everyone else, but grabbing exemptions for yourself.
Republicans and Second Amendment activists aren’t backing down. State Rep. Tom Garrett called out just how insane these laws are—especially the one blocking people from defending themselves on public streets. You can’t make this stuff up. Democrats pitch it all as public safety, but it’s really just virtue signaling and a naked grab for control. Meanwhile, groups at the protests were handing out high-capacity magazines to push back against the latest round of magazine bans. You have to fight fire with fire when the left comes for your rights.
And let’s not forget what happened just days before all this. An Islamic terrorist managed to break all these supposed “gun safety” measures and open fire at a college. The criminal ignored the law, as criminals always do. So what’s the big idea from the Democrats? Go after the law-abiding citizens, not the criminals. It’s pure insanity. Take away guns from the people who follow the law, but ignore the real threats. Only a liberal can look at a tragedy and blame the people who weren’t even involved.
The radical left is pushing hard, taking their marching orders from globalist elites and anti-American activists who can’t stand the Bill of Rights. They say it’s about safety, but it’s really about power. Virginians and all freedom-loving Americans need to keep standing up and asking the hard question: Who’s actually safer when good guys are disarmed and only the politicians and criminals are left with guns? The answer is obvious—except to those who refuse to see it.
