NBC host tries to trap conservative leader but Trump team fights back

The liberal media just can’t stand it when a conservative leader takes action. On Sunday, NBC’s Kristen Welker tried to trip up Ambassador Mike Waltz on national television. Her goal? To make America look like the bad guy when it comes to Iran. She fired off those tired old questions about whether the United States is “at war” with Iran. Typical. The left’s favorite strategy: confuse the public, ignore the real threats, and hope someone falls for their twisted narrative.

But Ambassador Waltz wouldn’t play along. He made it perfectly clear—President Trump isn’t creating chaos. He’s shutting it down. While Democrats have always been quick to apologize to hostile regimes, Trump is finally putting America first. He refuses to bow to demands from aggressive and dangerous Iran, unlike past presidents who sent pallets of cash or begged for deals that only made our enemies stronger.

Is anyone actually surprised the media keeps making excuses for Iran? When President Trump stands up to evil, mainstream hosts act shocked, as if taking a tough stance against our enemies is somehow controversial. Liberals seem more upset about ruffling feathers in Tehran than about keeping America safe. Why does the left care more about not offending Iran than about protecting the lives of American soldiers and citizens?

The globalists want endless negotiation. The left wants empty gestures. But Americans deserve results. Trump and leaders like Waltz know that talking tough isn’t enough. Sometimes you need real action. That’s what we’re finally seeing—a president who puts America in charge, who defends our interests, and who sends a clear signal: The era of bending over backward for our enemies is over.

Maybe the media should ask themselves why they always side with regimes that hate America. Or better yet, maybe they should try putting their own country first for once. President Trump is ending the games, ending the excuses, and ending the threats. Isn’t it about time we had leaders who aren’t afraid to win?
