Hollywood just can’t help itself. Every year, a movie gets handed Oscar gold not because of talent or great storytelling, but because it checks the “woke” box. This year, it’s a vampire movie called “Sinners,” set in the Jim Crow South. Sounds like just what the elites wanted: another excuse to wallow in America’s past and parade white guilt all over the red carpet.
Let’s be real. The entertainment industry is obsessed with reminding Americans of sins long gone, instead of talking about real issues Americans face right now. Just look at these so-called artists—passionately celebrating a film that drags up hate and division, all for awards and applause. When did movies stop being about inspiration and start being about lecturing middle-class families in Topeka and Houston?
“Sinners” is branded as the perfect movie for our “trying times.” What exactly does Hollywood mean by that? To them, trying times means America needs another round of self-flagellation. It’s never about the economy, rising crime, or our open borders. It’s always about blaming regular Americans for history, ignoring the heroes and shaming the country that gave these Hollywood elites everything they have.
The globalists and woke crowd want you to believe our nation is rotten to the core. Why else create a blood-sucking monster movie and drop it into the heart of Southern history? They want to twist the past, paint everyone as a villain, and ignore all progress made by proud, hard-working Americans from every background. It’s the same tired playbook: bash America, grab awards, signal virtue, and cash checks from the comfort of gated neighborhoods.
So tonight, when these Hollywood millionaires pat each other on the back for another anti-American “masterpiece,” real Americans ought to ask—where are the movies that celebrate American grit, faith, and the courage of our forefathers? Maybe the true sinners tonight aren’t on the silver screen, but in the front row at the Oscars.
