They love lecturing “regular” Americans about what to believe, and sneer at anyone who dares mention God. But here’s Kidman, openly talking about church as the place that keeps her grounded and “centered.” In a town where spirituality is usually mocked, that’s almost a rebel move.
Meanwhile, liberals call anyone who clings to faith backwards or bigoted. They roll their eyes at Christian values—the same values America was built on. But when a movie star admits church helps her handle the madness of Hollywood, the Left suddenly pretends not to notice. Why? It’s no wonder ordinary people can’t relate to Hollywood anymore. Regular folks still say grace at dinner. They still see church as a place that builds real strength, not just fame. Kidman’s choice to walk into God’s house, before the Oscars circus even starts, is a slap in the face to the anti-faith crowd running the show in Tinseltown.
Maybe the Oscar crowd should pay attention. Maybe all that glitz and manufactured outrage wouldn’t mean so much if celebrities remembered what actually grounds a person. If more elites followed Kidman’s example, Hollywood might finally start looking a little more American, and a lot less out-of-touch.
