Virginia Politicians Ban Your Guns Keep Theirs in Shocking Double Standard

Virginia Politicians Ban Your Guns, Exempt Themselves—Because Of Course They Did

Once again, the radical left in Virginia is steamrolling over the rights of ordinary people. The latest plot? A so-called “assault firearms” ban, designed to kill the AR-15 and anything that could help law-abiding Americans defend themselves. They’re not stopping at rifles, either. Now, magazines that hold 15 rounds—or more—are under attack. Didn’t anyone learn what “shall not be infringed” means?

What makes this even more ridiculous is the spineless hypocrisy pouring out of Richmond. These lawmakers, who love to pat themselves on the back for “keeping communities safe,” made sure to write themselves a get-out-of-jail-free card. The anti-gun law? It won’t touch them. The same politicians ripping away your Second Amendment rights will keep their so-called “weapons of war” nice and safe at home. Because when it comes to them, the rules just don’t apply.

Is anyone surprised? Every time liberals push their anti-gun fantasies, they never actually want to live by them. These are the same globalist types who roll out the red carpet for criminals and tie the hands of honest citizens. “Safety for me, but not for thee”—that’s their real agenda. Elites want to be surrounded by armed security, while the rest of us are stuck hoping the police show up before it’s too late.

And let’s not pretend this is about safety. Taking guns from law-abiding Americans never stopped a criminal—not once. All it does is leave families defenseless against the very threats the government refuses to stop. The AR-15 has been called the “great equalizer” for a reason. Taking it away is a slap in the face to every Virginian who just wants to protect their loved ones.

Yet here we go again. Spineless politicians writing laws for the little people while refusing to live by them. If Virginians can’t trust their leaders to follow their own rules, why should anyone trust them with our rights? Maybe they should drop the act and just admit: “We can be trusted. You can’t.” Isn’t that the real liberal motto?
