Once again, Hollywood has shown its true colors. This year’s Oscars red carpet had less to do with movies, and more to do with leftist whining. Self-important celebrities strutted around, not just to show off their overhyped outfits, but to take cheap shots at President Trump, law enforcement, and America’s greatest ally: Israel. The glitz and glamour have officially been replaced by anti-American rants.
Actors like Javier Bardem didn’t let the spotlight go to waste. Instead of talking about their craft or celebrating film, they seized the moment to blast out tired slogans about war and Palestine. Bardem’s so-called “protest” patches scream more about pandering to the radical Left than any real desire for peace. Funny how privileged actors can’t resist dusting off their old anti-war stickers every time it’s trendy, but never seem to have much to say about real threats from our enemies abroad.
Meanwhile, others lined up to attack ICE, as if the agents protecting our borders are the villains, not the criminals sneaking across. It’s embarrassing to see these millionaire elites lecture hard-working Americans from their champagne-soaked platforms. They criticize every effort to protect our country, never offering any real solutions. Apparently, their idea of heroism is demonizing anyone who believes in law and order.
And let’s not forget their typical Israel bashing. For years, Hollywood’s progressive mob has targeted Israel for daring to defend itself. It’s a classic move straight out of the globalist playbook: distract from real issues with emotional grandstanding, while siding with those who would destabilize the only true democracy in the Middle East. These so-called “activists” play dress-up as revolutionaries, but all they end up doing is parroting leftist talking points.
The Oscars used to celebrate American talent and achievement. Now it’s just another stage for out-of-touch celebrities to scold the very country that made them rich and famous. Maybe next time, instead of empty protests, Hollywood should thank America for the freedom that lets them say whatever nonsense they please. If they dislike it so much here, maybe it’s time for them to walk the red carpet somewhere else.
