Iran’s leadership has taken another dark turn, but should anyone really be surprised? The rise of Mojtaba Khamenei, the so-called “Supreme Leader,” isn’t just a problem for the Iranian people—it’s a sign that the entire ruling structure is shaking. Khamenei already faces serious backlash at home. The people are tired of being controlled by power-hungry elites. This new revelation about his leadership only throws more fuel on the fire.
For years, Iran’s regime has thrived on secrecy, repression, and a lust for absolute control. Now, with Khamenei at the top, what little hope the Iranian people had for change is slipping away. The mullahs don’t want freedom. They want obedience. They use fear to silence those who demand real liberty, locking up protestors and ignoring the cries for democracy. And yet, they wonder why people are angry?
It’s truly incredible how the globalist left cheers for “dialogue” and “diplomacy” with Iran’s unelected tyrants. Would these same liberals tolerate a leader like Khamenei calling the shots in their own country? Of course not. But when it happens across the ocean, the left loves to play naïve, pretending these radicals will someday change their ways. It’s laughable—or it would be, if so many lives weren’t at stake.
Instead of standing with the oppressed, too many in the Biden administration and European leadership bow to Iran’s leaders. They lift sanctions, send pallets of cash, and call it “progress.” All the while, new revelations drop about the misery and corruption inside Tehran. So who pays the price? Ordinary Iranians. The dreamers. The mothers and fathers who just want their kids to grow up free, not under the thumb of Mojtaba Khamenei and his paranoid inner circle.
Let’s not kid ourselves. The only real surprise is that anyone still expects anything decent from Iran’s regime. The liberals can keep making excuses, but the facts remain: tyranny doesn’t become freedom just because a new “Supreme Leader” takes the throne. Will the world keep looking the other way while another generation suffers? Or is it finally time to call evil by its name?
