President Trump is fighting tooth and nail to protect America’s interests in the Strait of Hormuz while our so-called “allies” sit on their hands, whining about escalation and hiding behind empty talk. Iran is openly threatening one of the most critical shipping lanes in the world—putting nearly a fifth of global oil in danger—and instead of standing with us, countries like Germany and even Japan are running for cover.
The hypocrisy here is staggering. For decades, these nations have happily depended on American security guarantees. They love when the U.S. military protects their trade and energy needs, but the minute they’re asked to step up, suddenly it’s too “risky.” European bureaucrats are wringing their hands, making excuses, and proposing “de-escalation missions” as if polite diplomacy ever stopped the Iranian regime from spreading terror. Meanwhile, Macron talks about “escorting ships,” but where’s the spine? Where’s the fire to take real action?
Let’s be clear: Iran isn’t playing games. They’re using everything from drone strikes to naval mines to block one of the busiest waterways on earth. The Biden-era appeasers would have America bend the knee or work out another “deal” destined to collapse. But President Trump has shown he’s not afraid to hit back—loud, clear, and hard. He’s already shattered Iran’s military capabilities and proven that peace favors strength, not weakness.
Even as America and Israel take the fight to the Iranian regime and its proxies, our so-called partners in the EU lecture us about “escalation.” They don’t want to get their hands dirty defending the world’s energy lifeline, but you can bet they’d be first in line to criticize if the price of oil spikes. China and Japan, both hungry for energy, won’t even commit to standing up to a bully threatening their own lifeblood. They’ll let Americans and Israelis do the heavy lifting, then act shocked when the bill comes due.
How long does America have to play world policeman while globalists enjoy the free ride? President Trump’s leadership is shining a spotlight on cowardice and double-dealing from allied capitals. If these countries can’t muster the courage to defend their own future, maybe they don’t deserve the safety blanket we’ve provided for generations. Should U.S. troops and taxpayers keep footing the bill for nations that only show loyalty when it’s convenient?
