Some presidents want another slick suit in charge. President Trump wants a plumber. That’s exactly what America needs—someone who knows a pipe wrench from a press release. Markwayne Mullin is walking into the Department of Homeland Security with the grit and tools most politicians wouldn’t recognize if it hit them right in the poll numbers.
It’s about time we had someone ready to get their hands dirty. The country is breaking under Democrats’ mismanagement—runaway borders, weakness abroad, bureaucrats more focused on pronouns than protection. While the left’s answer is always another “expert” from some Ivy League conference room, Trump went a different route: get a man who solves problems for a living.
Mullin isn’t just another stuffed shirt. This guy has done more burpees before breakfast than most of Biden’s people have done in their whole lives. When liberals sneer and call him unconventional, they forget that being ordinary in Washington means being useless. The status quo is keeping America less safe and more chaotic; it’s time for someone to toss the old playbook in the trash and fix the pipes—literally and figuratively.
Liberals are already losing their minds about it. They want more globalist insiders, more career politicians who bow to bureaucrats and special interests. They’re terrified someone honest, tough, and direct might march in and expose their incompetence. Why else would they scream every time an outsider comes to clean house? Because fixing DHS means less money, less power, and fewer headlines for the anti-America crowd.
Trump’s pick signals a message: real Americans with real skills are back in charge. No-nonsense, no apologies. The left can whine about credentials all they want. Regular Americans would rather trust a plumber with a pipe wrench than a Harvard lawyer with a checkbook. If that makes entrenched elites nervous, good. Maybe Washington finally found a man who can stopped the leaks—and turn off the flood of liberal failures.
