Obama Presidential Center slammed for six figure insider pay while regular Americans work for free

The Obama Presidential Center hasn’t even opened its doors yet, but the hypocrisy is already leaking out like a broken pipe. While liberal elites inside the center are pocketing fat, six-figure salaries, everyday Americans are being told to “volunteer” if they want to be part of the action. Translation: the well-connected insiders get rich, and the rest of us get stuck with a participation trophy… if we’re lucky.

So what’s the reward for regular folks who want a job at this so-called “historic” library? Not a paycheck. Nope, they get the thrill of working for free and being part of the “experience.” This isn’t about sharing history. It’s about getting cheap labor so the Obama crowd can pad their portfolios. And their definition of “skilled volunteers” really means: come do the work professionals should be paid for, while we cash in.

It’s classic left-wing double speak—talk about “equity” on the outside while running a closed club for the rich behind the scenes. This isn’t new. Liberals are always eager to preach about lifting people up, but the minute it’s their turn to put money where their mouth is, suddenly that cash is locked up for the privileged few. Ordinary Americans get nothing but empty slogans and unpaid busywork.

Let’s not forget, this is the same crowd that promised hope, change, and a seat at the table for everyone. But when the cameras turn off, the insiders rake in six figures while the people who actually make these places run are told to “volunteer your time.” If this is “progress,” Americans should run the other way.

If the Obama Center can afford to pay its insiders big salaries, it can afford to pay the hard-working people who show up every day. But that would mean actually valuing American workers. Instead, it seems the globalists and their liberal buddies just want to keep all the perks for themselves. Is this what “yes we can” really meant all along?
