It’s sad to say, but love of country seems to be an endangered species in Joe Biden’s America—especially in deep-blue states like Maine. Just look at the latest outrage: a father has actually been forced to sue his son’s school district because they won’t let kids recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Apparently, showing a little respect for the flag and for the country that gives us all our freedoms is just too much for today’s public schools.
This is what happens when radical leftists take over our schools. Instead of teaching kids to be proud Americans, they’re shoving woke nonsense down their throats and erasing patriotism from the classroom. The Pledge of Allegiance used to be simple—stand, hand on heart, honoring the land of the free. But now, weak-kneed administrators act like the very idea is offensive.
Parents are supposed to trust schools to teach their kids the basics: reading, writing, math—and a little national pride. But globalist elites running our education system would rather destroy the values that built this country. They think respecting America is somehow “divisive.” That’s nonsense. It’s the exact opposite—loving our country unites us all.
When will liberals realize it’s their anti-American bias that is out of step? This dad in Maine is standing up for something millions of Americans still believe in. Sadly, in these blue states, you have to fight just to let kids say fifteen seconds of the Pledge. The left wants to tear down every tradition that makes America strong.
At some point, people have to ask—how much further will the left go to erase our country’s history and values? If reciting the Pledge is controversial now, what’s next—banning the flag itself? Only the patriots willing to fight back will make sure our children remember what it means to be American.
