It’s not just missed flights or longer security lines—though anyone traveling these days knows the airports have become a disaster zone. No, that’s only the tip of this left-wing iceberg.
Across the nation, TSA checkpoints have spiraled out of control. Have you tried flying lately? Security lines snake through terminals, pushing out the doors and into the morning darkness before dawn. Travelers are forced to show up nearly three hours ahead—just to have a shot at making their planes. TSA officers are quitting, fed up with working without pay. Meanwhile, hundreds of millions of travelers face delays and chaos, all so Democrats can stick it to law enforcement. Even the mainstream media has admitted it’s a total trainwreck.
But the real damage goes far beyond inconvenience. In these weeks of Democrat grandstanding, jihadists have unleashed four separate terror attacks. Four. Let that sink in. These attacks didn’t care about state borders. Texas, New York, Virginia, and Michigan have all felt the sting. Bombs thrown at anti-Islam protestors. An explosives-packed car plowing into a daycare. Innocent students and bar-goers caught in the crossfire. Democrats refused to budge until the blood started spilling—and only then felt pressure to end their dangerous stunt.
Let’s be clear about their priorities. The only reason for this shutdown? Some twisted obsession with blocking funds to immigration enforcement—even though immigration officers are funded for years to come! It’s nothing but virtue signaling for the open-borders crowd. The radical left would rather cripple homeland security, put families at risk, and force government workers to go without pay than stand up for American citizens.
Families miss weddings. People can’t make it to loved ones’ hospital beds. Children cower in fear after another jihadist attack. And all the while, Democrats pretend they’re the heroes.
