The Democrats have reached a new low. While Americans nervously watch as terror attacks strike our country not once, but four separate times since the war with Iran started, what do liberals do? They vote, again and again, to defund Homeland Security. You read that right: instead of protecting us, they play political games with our safety. It almost seems like they’re rooting for chaos instead of order.
These leftists have made it crystal clear: their loyalty is not with American families, but with their own easy talking points. While our borders break down and airports grind to chaos, all the Democrats can do is brag about holding the purse strings of DHS hostage like it’s some kind of game show. Normal citizens are just trying to get to work or fly to see family, and Democrats are too busy grandstanding to understand the real pain they’re causing.
Where is the outrage on the left about real threats against America? It’s missing. Instead, we hear the usual nonsense about “oversight” or “equity”—code words for undermining anything that works. Meanwhile, actual terrorists try to strike on American soil, and the party supposedly for the people shows its true, globalist, anti-American face. It’s almost as if Democrats would rather cut deals with elites across the globe than make sure their own constituents are safe.
Nothing about this is an “honest debate.” It’s a sham. It’s weakness dressed up as wisdom. While conservative voices demand security and sanity, Democrats risk everything—risk your family’s safety—just to score points with their radical base. Americans who work hard, pay taxes, and follow the rules deserve better than this cavalier disregard for national security.
How many more wake-up calls will it take before the left pulls their heads out of the sand? Serious leaders put country over politics. Unfortunately, the Democrats just showed—again—that they don’t even know what that means. When will the liberals care more about American lives than their own twisted agenda?
