Gavin Newsom is at it again—strutting around the country, shamelessly prepping for a 2028 presidential run, while his own backyard burns with corruption and fraud on a scale no sane person should tolerate. Almost $500 billion in fraud has been exposed in California, making it the undisputed leader in government waste. Yet Newsom acts like nothing’s wrong, basking in the spotlight and brushing off his colossal failures like they don’t even exist.
Let’s call this what it is—Democrat incompetence at its absolute worst. While regular Californians are struggling to pay rent and keep their businesses afloat, the money meant for their wellbeing is being swallowed up by scams and political cronies. Meanwhile, Newsom fiddles with his hair and talks in circles, pretending he’s fixed problems like homelessness and welfare abuse. If these issues are really solved like he claims, then where is all the missing money going? Clearly, he’s more interested in photo ops and soundbites than delivering for his people.
It gets even dirtier. Allegations have surfaced that Newsom’s own family has benefited from this corruption, with his wife reportedly funneling millions to herself through her charity. The hypocrisy is staggering—preaching about equity and justice while raking in cash behind closed doors. And what about accountability? Not a peep from the liberal elite. They don’t care about taxpayers. They think your hard-earned money is theirs to waste.
Republican hopeful Steve Hilton isn’t just calling this out—he’s leading the charge to stop it. His campaign teams have uncovered the sheer scale of fraud while Democrat insiders scramble to cover their tracks. Hilton gets it: California’s bloated bureaucracy doesn’t lift people up, it siphons funds away from communities in order to fund the next vanity project or line some politician’s pocket. No wonder he’s topping the polls while Democrats bicker over which out-of-touch insider will get their golden ticket.
The left worships at the altar of big government, open borders, and globalist interests. But when it comes to actually helping Americans, they vanish into the shadows. Californians are sick of being used as a stepping stone for Newsom’s national ambition while their neighborhoods suffer. How much more will it take before voters demand real leadership and stop letting coastal elites run wild with other people’s money? The Newsom circus might play well for the D.C. cocktail crowd, but the rest of us see right through the act.
