Iran attacks holy Jerusalem church and the West stands by in silence

The world just got a glaring reminder of what happens when evil regimes feel empowered and the West sits back in weakness. The Iranian dictatorship showed its true face, launching a vicious missile attack at Jerusalem and damaging one of Christianity’s most sacred sites—the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. While globalist elites wring their hands and preach “peace talks,” Iran is targetting churches and innocent civilians. Anyone still peddling fairy tales about Iran being misunderstood is living in fantasy land.

This wasn’t just an attack on Israel—this was a slap in the face to every Christian in the world. The mullahs in Tehran didn’t hesitate to fire lethal weapons at a holy place where Christians believe Jesus died and rose. This is the sort of twisted fanaticism the left loves to downplay as just another “regional conflict.” But the fact is, when tyrants see weakness from the White House and weak-willed bureaucrats in Europe, they go after faith, freedom, and the very roots of Western civilization.

Of course, you won’t see any outrage from the usual crowd of college activists or blue-check liberals. If Israel so much as builds an apartment complex, leftists scream about “war crimes.” Now that Iran is blowing holes in ancient Christian churches, the silence is deafening. In today’s upside-down world, defending civilization and Christianity is apparently controversial, but setting rockets on centuries-old churches is just business as usual.

The truth is simple: dictators and terrorists only respect strength. They don’t care about human rights lectures or United Nations resolutions. When America and her allies led with confidence, these tyrants thought twice before pulling stunts like this. But after years of groveling and bending over backwards to “keep the peace,” the wolves are circling. The Iranian regime is emboldened, and the West is left clutching its pearls—again.

So what will it be? More empty words, or finally taking a hard stand against those who tear at the pillars of civilization? Maybe it’s time the so-called guardians of democracy and human rights put their money where their mouth is. Because if Western leaders won’t fight for Jerusalem’s holy churches, will they fight for anything at all?
