But when it comes to the real, raw courage of Iranian women ripping off their headscarves—risking prison or even death—the stars suddenly lost their voices. Where were the red pins for them? Nowhere to be found, and that’s not a coincidence.
It’s funny—these same celebrities, who cry for “justice” and claim to stand up for the oppressed, go silent when the oppressors are Iran’s corrupt, brutal regime. An Iranian woman faces daily terror just for wanting her own freedom. Meanwhile, Hollywood turns its back, too busy trashing Israel to worry about actual bravery. It’s not ignorance, it’s hypocrisy on full display.
Why the double standard? It’s simple. Joining the Israel-bashing crowd scores easy points with globalist elites and the woke mob. But standing up to Iran means risking something—maybe even their careers. For the Hollywood elite, that’s just too dangerous. Real courage? That’s for other people, not them.
Let’s not kid ourselves. The Oscars aren’t about justice or truth anymore. It’s a stage for virtue signaling and safe activism while ignoring the actual victims of tyrants they’re too scared to face. If Hollywood truly cared, every actor would be speaking out for the brave Iranian women fighting for their basic rights. Instead, they hide behind designer clothes and empty symbols, patting themselves on the back for going after the easy target.
The American people see through this charade. We remember real heroes, not actors pretending to care. Maybe next year, these silver screen warriors should try standing up for true freedom instead of chasing the applause of their woke pals. Or is that asking too much from this crowd?
