Look straight at Senate Democrats, who are working overtime to make air travel worse for everyone—except, of course, their special interest pals.
It’s infuriating. Instead of fixing real problems—like fixing broken infrastructure or hiring more air traffic controllers—liberal leaders in Congress are obsessed with pushing globalist red tape and feel-good regulations. They slap new rules and burdens on airlines and airports, then pretend they’re champions for the average flyer. The reality? Travelers are stuck waiting in longer lines, dealing with last-minute cancellations, and paying more out of pocket—all thanks to these backward policies.
It doesn’t have to be this way. America used to have the world’s best aviation system because our leaders believed in competition and American innovation. Now Democrats are doing their best to strangle that innovation with more bureaucracy. They’re spending more time virtue-signaling about “equity” and “climate” than actually moving planes on time. Who gets rich off these pointless rules? The same big government cronies and D.C. insiders who always win when government gets bigger and freedom gets smaller.
Liberals love to say they’re fighting for the little guy, but air travel is a perfect example of their hypocrisy. The more “solutions” they propose, the more pain they create for hardworking Americans who just want to visit family or do their jobs. Maybe if senators had to wait in the same TSA lines as the rest of us, they’d think twice before adding more chaos to our airports.
Americans deserve better than messy airports and grounded planes. The real problem isn’t the weather or the airlines—it’s politicians who value their pet projects more than the people they claim to represent.
