It’s finally out in the open—President Trump has the guts to say what past presidents wouldn’t dare admit: when it comes to Iran, the old ruling class got it all wrong. Trump made waves this week by revealing that a former president essentially confessed to regretting not taking action against Iran while they had the chance. Predictably, Democratic aides tried to shoot down his claim, rushing to assure everyone that their bosses didn’t speak recently with Trump. No surprise there. Swamp creatures never own up to mistakes when American lives are on the line.
For years, globalist elites and weak-kneed liberals let Iran stomp all over the United States. They whined about diplomacy while Iranian hardliners laughed and stockpiled weaponry. Instead of keeping us safe, they pushed policies that led straight to the mess we’re dealing with now. Trump isn’t shy about shining a spotlight on their cowardice. The D.C. establishment ran scared anytime a tough decision needed to be made. They handed away power and got nothing in return. Is anyone really shocked that one of them would quietly admit to Trump that they blew it?
You won’t see a single apology from Barack Obama, George W. Bush, or even Bill Clinton. Their mouthpieces are scrambling to cover their tracks, denying any recent chats with Trump. Of course they are! Heaven forbid they ever admit Americans would be better off with Trump’s bold leadership. Liberals are terrified of losing their last shreds of credibility. Whenever Trump exposes their failures, they either claim it never happened or whine about “decorum.” Meanwhile, Iran keeps stirring up chaos in the Middle East.
The pattern is obvious to anyone paying attention. Democrats want to look “tough,” but only when it comes to banning plastic straws or flying rainbow flags in the embassy. When real threats pop up, they fumble the ball and blame conservatives for cleaning up the mess. Under Biden, the feeble foreign policy has only gotten worse. Weak sanctions, empty talk, and a refusal to defend American interests have made our allies nervous and emboldened our enemies.
The left loves to pretend they stand for peace, but their incompetence just put the world in more danger. Maybe it’s time they admit Trump’s willingness to call out Iran’s aggression is exactly what America needs. The only “confession” that matters is this: the old guard’s soft-power games failed. If Trump’s got his foot on the gas with Iran, it’s because the others pumped the brakes for too long. When will Democrats finally confess to something besides their addiction to failure?
