President Trump is putting America first—again. While liberal politicians in California and their activist friends are happy to let gas prices soar and keep families struggling at the pump, Trump has taken bold action to unleash American energy. His latest executive order kickstarts oil drilling off the Santa Barbara coast, bringing real relief to millions who are sick and tired of paying over five bucks a gallon while Biden and his cronies grovel to hostile foreign regimes for oil. The left whines about oil spills, but they never seem to care about working-class Americans forced to choose between gas and groceries.
Of course, the usual parade of California Democrats are falling over themselves to try and block this commonsense move. They cry about “abuse of power” and threaten lawsuits, but it’s nothing but political theater. These same progressives talk big about clean energy while ignoring the fact that their “green” schemes have left California with rolling blackouts and the highest utility bills in America. Now, with conflict overseas driving up prices and choking off critical shipping lanes, they want us to sit back and watch our economy crumble. Trump knows that’s unacceptable.
Thanks to Trump’s leadership, a key pipeline that’s been sitting idle for years is finally reopening. That means real jobs for American workers—pipefitters, truck drivers, and engineers who don’t want “climate justice,” but steady paychecks and the freedom to provide for their families. More oil here at home equals lower prices at the pump and less dependence on countries that hate us. If only the “America last” crowd in Sacramento and Washington understood that simple truth.
The left claims to care about the environment, but it’s all about control. They’d rather see Americans suffer than let Trump score a win. They rant about “federal overreach,” but they’re just mad they didn’t think of it first. When the chips are down, they’d rather haul in tanker ships from dictatorships than tap American energy right under our nose. Hypocrisy, plain and simple.
While the media peddles panic and progressives clutch their pearls, Trump’s getting things done. He’s defending American sovereignty, securing our borders and our energy, and sending a message to the world: The United States will not be pushed around. Maybe the question we should be asking is, why do liberals always side with foreign interests over American families?
