Democrat Double Standard Exposed as Schakowsky Flees and MeToo Scandal Rocks Illinois

Democrats are at it again, scrambling to keep their own scandals under wraps while pointing fingers at everyone else. For more than a quarter century, Illinois’ Jan Schakowsky held onto power in Congress, waving the progressive flag and acting holier-than-thou. But now, as she slinks away from the spotlight, the skeletons in the Democrat closet spill out once again—and the so-called “MeToo” movement gets another black eye.

It’s no secret the liberal elite love to brand themselves as defenders of women. They act like the only protectors against harassment and abuse, always ready with a hashtag or a protest march. But when it’s one of their own under fire, suddenly the standards change. Democrat leadership either shrugs or sweeps the mess under the rug. In Illinois, that hypocrisy has been plain as day.

While conservative leaders get torched by the media at the faintest whiff of a scandal, Democrat disasters disappear fast. Mainstream outlets look the other way. The voters are told to ignore the drama—you know, for “the greater good.” The real kicker is that these same liberals who demand accountability are the first to demand silence when the accusations hit their own ranks.

Schakowsky’s retreat isn’t just about exhaustion, but it’s no coincidence the exit comes now, as whispers swirl. The Democrat cabal in Chicago and beyond want to avoid embarrassment. They push women’s stories only when it fits their agenda. Suddenly, when MeToo threatens a Democrat seat, the movement gets dialed down, the coverage vanishes, and the crusaders all go home. How convenient.

Let’s be clear: the left’s “standards” only apply to their enemies. When will Americans wake up to the double standard and demand real integrity from every politician, not just Republicans? Liberals talk a big game about equality, but they act like the rules don’t apply to them. Maybe next time the Democrat party starts virtue-signaling, voters should ask who they’re actually protecting—and who pays the price when the cameras turn off.
