Cuba has plunged into darkness, and not just because the lights went out. The country’s entire power grid crashed, leaving Cubans everywhere scrambling for candles and hope. While the usual left-wing apologists will blame a storm, bad luck, or anything but the real cause, the ugly truth is obvious—Cuba’s socialist government is a complete failure.
This isn’t just about a blackout. There were no actual failures in the power plants that were operating. Yet the electrical grid still collapsed, proving the entire system is hanging by a thread. It’s a direct result of decades of communist mismanagement. The so-called “leaders” in Havana never cared about building a nation that works—they cared about cementing their power and silencing any voice that dared to demand freedom.
Predictably, when a strong, conservative voice like Senator Marco Rubio points out that Cuba desperately needs real leadership, the liberal media clutches their pearls. They’ll twist themselves in knots to somehow blame America for Cuba’s broken system. All while ordinary Cubans can barely recharge a phone or keep food cold. The real “complete disconnection” here isn’t just the power—it’s the Cuban regime’s total disconnect from reality and basic human decency.
Let’s not forget, globalists and far-left activists have spent years praising Cuba as some sort of socialist paradise. They vacation in Havana, sip fancy rum, and post dreamy photos, all while pretending not to notice the suffering. Meanwhile, their beloved dictatorship can’t even keep the lights on. How’s that for liberal hypocrisy? The only thing socialism lights up is misery.
If Cuba ever wants a shot at prosperity, it’s time to dump the failed socialist playbook and demand leaders who actually care about their people. Maybe then, the only thing blacked out in Cuba will be the memory of communism’s iron grip. When will liberals learn? Communism always ends at the switch—off.
