For nearly three weeks, Israel has been fighting a war against brutal extremists. But instead of standing firm against a bloodthirsty theocracy, all the liberal media can do is whine and beg for it to end. The so-called “woke” elites, always eager to paint the West as the problem, would rather count days and feelings than admit the obvious: radical Islam is a threat, and it’s time we treat it like one.
While Israel faces rockets and terror from Iranian-backed maniacs, our own political class obsesses over peace talks and “proportionate” responses. Proportionate? As if there’s any comparison between a democracy and a regime that openly calls for genocide. But, of course, the “Woke Reich” is convinced that lectures and hashtags will make the world safer — forget backbone, forget national pride.
It’s nauseating to watch American politicians and their media cheerleaders twist themselves into knots. They shame Israel for defending its people, yet turn a blind eye to Iran’s endless violence. They used to pretend that America stood with her allies. Now, it’s all hand-wringing and virtue signaling for the cameras while our enemies laugh behind our backs. Does anyone really believe that endless appeasement will win respect from Tehran or its terror puppets?
The same crowd that chants about tolerance and kindness are the first to smear anyone actually willing to fight evil. Liberals would rather cozy up to globalist talking points than admit that some cultures — like Iran’s brutal regime — don’t deserve a seat at the grown-ups’ table. Security, freedom, and defense of Western values are mocked, while leftists rush to champion the same forces that want to snuff them out.
Here’s the simple, hard truth: America and her friends can’t afford to let the appeasers drive the car into the ditch. Sometimes, evil needs to be confronted with force — not feelings. Maybe next time the media starts asking, “When will it be over?” someone should answer, “When you finally remember whose side you’re on.”
