Americans have watched as Washington flounders under the weight of weak leadership and crooked politics. Now, President Trump is showing the nerve and instincts that we desperately need. By standing firmly behind Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence, Trump is sending a message: the days of soft, globalist policy and appeasement are over. While the left screams and moans about “norms” and has fits on cable news, Trump picks people who put America—and only America—first.
Tulsi Gabbard hasn’t played along with the woke crowd. She’s not interested in lurching from one anti-American crusade to the next. The usual liberal suspects hate her precisely because she refuses to kneel before the cancel cult or the global elite. Instead of bowing to mob pressure, she has proven her willingness to speak hard truths and focus on our national security. That’s why Trump trusts her—and it’s a slap in the face to every Biden bureaucrat who put our safety last.
It’s laughable watching the same Democrats who demanded “diversity” choices now freak out because Trump chose someone they can’t control. The left only cares about diversity when it means more puppets for their side. But Gabbard is no one’s puppet. She’s an unpredictable maverick. That terrifies the D.C. elite, because for once, the intelligence community might actually start doing its job: defending Americans, not pushing left-wing agendas or leaking secrets to journalists.
The left has spent years letting our intelligence agencies rot from the inside. They were too busy spying on political opponents and running interference for China to protect Americans. Under Trump and Gabbard, those days are numbered. Trump didn’t pick her to win praise from the media. He picked her because she’s tough, independent, and actually cares about America.
If the liberals want to whine about “norms,” let them. Let them cry about losing influence while patriotic Americans finally get leaders with some spine. Trump is done apologizing, and so is Tulsi Gabbard. Maybe Washington’s establishment is just scared they’re about to be exposed—but wouldn’t it be about time?
