Senator Mike Lee is sounding the alarm, and the establishment GOP had better pay attention. The fate of the SAVE America Act should be a no-brainer. It’s a simple bill: Stop noncitizens from voting in our elections. But somehow, even now, there are some “Republicans” in Washington who think this isn’t worth fighting for. If these so-called leaders let the Democrats block this bill, they’re basically waving a white flag and spitting in the face of every American who believes in fair elections.
Is this the hill for Republicans to die on? Absolutely. If voting isn’t only for citizens, then what’s left of America’s democracy? Americans aren’t stupid. They see what’s happening—open borders, endless excuses, and now even foreign nationals sneaking their way into the voting booth. The left wants to silence real Americans and replace them with anyone who’ll pull the lever for globalist cronies.
But here’s the dirty secret: There are spineless Republicans who’d rather keep things easy for themselves than take a stand. Senator Lee is practically begging his own party not to betray the voters. If the GOP lets this bill fail, it’s not just bad politics. It’s political suicide. Americans are mad, and they’re tired of betrayals from the very people who are supposed to defend them.
The truth is, the left and their apologists would rather accuse patriots of “voter suppression” than actually protect election integrity. Why? Because their agenda depends on chaos. They don’t want honest elections. They want mass amnesty, open borders, and a never-ending flood of new voters who owe everything to the Democrat machine.
Any Republican missing in action on this bill deserves to lose their seat. If standing up for American voting rights is too hard, maybe they should just join the Democrats and get it over with. This country needs fighters who put America first, not weak-kneed politicians obsessed with their own image. If the GOP can’t defend something this basic, what’s next—letting the United Nations run our elections?
