If you needed more proof that the world is growing more dangerous under failed liberal leadership, just look at what’s happening right now with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. While the bureaucrats in Washington shuffle their feet, real Americans are left to wonder just how deep the threats against our leaders go—and why.
Drone incursions over a U.S. military base in the heart of our capital should set off alarm bells. But instead, we hear little more than the usual handwringing. Rubio and Hegseth are right where they need to be—on the front lines of American defense. Yet even their safety is now in question, because the world’s enemies have grown bolder, sensing weakness and chaos fueled by globalist incompetence and years of soft-pedaling.
This is what happens when the Left talks tough from behind podiums but refuses to act. Enemies from Tehran to drug cartels in the Americas know that the West is distracted by their own woke agendas. Drones over Fort McNair are just the latest sign that America’s adversaries don’t take us seriously anymore—and why would they? They see the State Department focused on pronouns, not protection. They see military leadership more concerned with diversity than with defending the homeland.
Let’s not forget, those who actually stand up for strong borders and American interests—folks like Rubio, Hegseth, and even Attorney General Pam Bondi—are the ones who now face threats thick enough to force them into military housing. Meanwhile, liberal elites wring their hands about “escalation” and clutch their pearls when anyone suggests taking firm action.
Americans need to wake up. If high-level cabinet officials can’t even sleep safe at military bases in the United States, what message does that send to the world? Maybe it’s time for Washington to quit appeasing our enemies and start putting America’s security first again. Or is the Left too busy virtue-signaling to care if our leaders and our country are under attack?
