If you want to know what Democrats really stand for, just take a look at last month’s State of the Union. When President Trump called on Congress to put American citizens first and protect us—not illegal aliens—the Democrats couldn’t even bother to get out of their seats. Not one. They sat there, arms folded, while he made the most basic, common-sense request: take care of your own people. The message was loud and clear—today’s Democrat Party is not interested in standing for Americans.
Instead, they bend over backwards to defend illegal immigrants, even when these noncitizens scam hardworking taxpayers. The proof couldn’t be any clearer. The House just passed the Deporting Fraudsters Act, a bill to stop noncitizens from fraudulently draining government programs like SNAP and Social Security. This is the bare minimum any real leader should do—stand up for the people who play by the rules and pay into these systems every single paycheck. But what did most Democrats do? They voted against it. Think about that. With American families struggling, with our safety nets stretched thin, Democrats would rather shield those who cheat the system than stand up for U.S. citizens.
It gets even worse. These soft-on-crime liberals aren’t just content to sit on their hands in D.C.—they’re doubling down on their anti-American agenda in battleground districts all across the country. Dozens of vulnerable Democrats, from California to Texas to New Jersey, now have a record of refusing to protect U.S. taxpayers from fraudsters. Names like Darren Soto, Jared Moskowitz, Frank Mrvan, Nellie Pou, Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Emilia Sykes—all of them refused to back a bill that would get rid of illegal aliens who abuse programs meant for American citizens. Are these the people we want making decisions for our families and communities?
This isn’t just political theater. This is a cold, hard look at party priorities. When the choice came down to standing with law-abiding Americans or with criminals who broke our laws, Democrats chose the latter—again and again. They showed us exactly how out of touch they are with everyday Americans. And let’s be honest: these elites care far more about appeasing their globalist donor class and scoring points with radical activists than they do about your job, your neighborhood, or your kid’s future.
Voters in these swing districts will remember who stood tall for America—and who couldn’t even get out of their chair. The time has come to hold these spineless politicians accountable. If Democrats won’t put Americans first, why should Americans give them the keys to our country?
