Another day, another jaw-dropping blunder from the liberal elites in Congress. This time, Jamie Raskin, a proud Democrat from Maryland, decided to rewrite American history right in front of everyone’s faces. He tried to claim that one of our Founding Fathers was basically an “undocumented immigrant.” You’d think folks making laws would know the basics of American history, but apparently, that’s asking too much from Democrats these days.
Let’s call it what it is—liberal desperation. The left is so obsessed with open borders and globalism that they’re willing to twist our nation’s founding story to fit their radical narrative. Raskin clearly hoped Americans were too busy or too dumb to notice his little history stunt. Spoiler alert: he got caught and humiliated with a much-needed correction. When it comes to facts, leftists always seem to come in last.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone. The Democrats’ favorite pastimes include rewriting history and peddling lies, whether it’s through critical race theory or just outright fabrication. They love to cloak anti-American ideas in fake compassion and academic jargon. Sorry, but trying to turn the Founding Fathers, the men who built this country, into illegal immigrants is a slap in the face to every patriot.
Of course, none of this matters to Raskin and his pals. They think that if they say something with enough confidence, the rest of us will swallow it whole. But Americans aren’t stupid. We see right through their charades. Every time the far left tries to smuggle another falsehood into the history books, real patriots push back and demand the truth.
If Democrats can’t even get our history right, why should anyone trust them to safeguard our future? Maybe Raskin’s next move will be renaming the Statue of Liberty as the first border crossing. For liberals, there’s no limit to the nonsense they’ll spew to push their agenda—facts be damned.
