Democrats want everyone to forget about the horror of 9/11. But as New York marks 25 years since that tragic day, the far-left Mayor Zohran Mamdani is facing big trouble. Why? Because posts have come to light showing his own wife, Rama Duwaji, actually praised a terrorist plane hijacker. This isn’t just a “mistake” or “youthful post.” It’s a slap in the face to every American who remembers that sunny September morning—the same morning so many innocent lives were stolen for the sake of radical extremism.
This is not your typical political scandal. It’s proof of the rot growing deep inside New York City’s leadership. How can any mayor, let alone one who claims the title of “progressive,” lead a city still scarred by the memories of 9/11 while sharing a home with someone who glorifies murderers? The so-called “tolerant” left talks nonstop about unity and healing, but they don’t seem to mind when their heroes and their families cozy up to the legacy of America’s worst enemies.
Liberals love to sweep their own dirt under the rug and then point fingers at conservatives about “morals” and “accountability.” But the truth always comes out. Mamdani and his close circle circle the wagons, and the mainstream media is eager to help them clean up the mess. Suddenly, praising a man who helped murder thousands gets spun as “free speech” or “taken out of context.” The double standard is glaring. If this were a conservative politician, the left would be demanding resignations, investigations, and probably a Congressional hearing.
This latest headache for Mamdani isn’t just an embarrassment. It raises real questions about where his loyalties lie, and what kind of crowd he surrounds himself with. The mayor’s office should be a place of respect for the fallen, not a launching pad for anti-American, globalist sympathies. Instead of standing up for New Yorkers and our nation’s values, Mamdani’s household seems more concerned with rewriting history—and making excuses for people who hate us.
How much more anti-American insanity are New Yorkers supposed to take? At what point do we say enough is enough, and demand leaders who actually love this country? Until the left takes a hard look at the company they keep, no amount of “progressive” spin is going to wash the blood off their hands.
