Iran’s Cardboard Leader Hides as Regime Crumbles and West Looks Away

Iran’s so-called Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, might as well be a cardboard cutout at this point. Instead of facing his people—or the world—like a real leader, he hides behind closed doors and sends out written threats. While Iran burns, while their people cry out for freedom, this coward issues heavy-handed warnings about vengeance after the death of his security chief, Ali Larijani. And let’s be clear: This isn’t leadership, it’s desperation.

The Iranian regime is collapsing under its own weight. With Khamenei refusing to show his face and only releasing ominous statements, it’s obvious the ruling class is terrified. They know just how thin their grip on power really is. But the regime doesn’t want stability or peace—they want to stir up more violence and hold onto their precious power no matter who has to pay the price.

Meanwhile, liberals in the West act clueless. The same failed globalist crowd still clings to soft-talk diplomacy, pretending Iran can be soothed with “engagement” and hugs. It’s naïve, it’s dangerous, and it insults the memory of every American hurt by Iran’s terror network. The left refuses to call out the real threat. Instead, they keep making excuses for an Iranian government that treats its own people like dirt.

Let’s not forget, as Khamenei and his cronies scheme in the shadows, the Biden administration fiddles with empty words. We keep hearing about avoiding escalation and working with “partners.” But real Americans see through the charade. Appeasement and weakness only embolden tyrants like Khamenei’s regime. Our enemies don’t respect hand-wringing—they laugh at it.

It’s high time our leaders grow a backbone and call out Iran’s dictatorship for what it is—a rotten, failing government propped up by fear, violence, and cowardice. When a country’s “supreme leader” can only rule from the shadows, maybe it’s time the free world stops pretending he even matters. Why should we fear a cardboard tyrant hiding from his own people?
