Biden cuts Russian tanker a break sends Putin’s oil to Cuba while Americans pay the price

The Biden administration just handed a major victory to both Russia and Cuba. In a stunning move, the White House has made life easier for a Russian oil tanker, the Anatoly Kolodkin, by freeing it from U.S. sanctions. Now this ship is on its way to energy-starved Cuba, delivering help straight from Vladimir Putin. So much for standing up to authoritarian regimes.

This is what liberal “smart diplomacy” looks like. The same crowd that loves to talk tough on Russia is now bending over backwards to please Moscow and Havana. Why? Because the Biden team is more worried about keeping global oil prices stable than defending American values or holding dictatorships accountable. Their so-called sanctions meant nothing, and now they’re scrambling to cover their tracks.

Meanwhile, the people of Cuba are suffering, and the regime still won’t give freedom a chance. Instead of letting that rotten system fail, Washington just threw Havana another lifeline. And let’s not forget who benefits: Putin gets more money, the Cuban communists get more power, and American energy workers are left out in the cold.

It all goes back to this administration’s obsession with globalist deals. They’d rather cozy up to our adversaries than unleash American oil or secure our own borders. Their twisted priorities keep foreign tyrants in business while putting our allies and interests at risk. Who suffers? Everyday Americans paying too much at the pump, all thanks to weak leaders in D.C.

Liberals love to talk about fighting for democracy and standing with the oppressed. But at the end of the day, their policies boost dictators and betray our own. If Washington can’t even keep its own sanctions straight, what chance do the Cuban people or American workers have? Maybe for once, the White House should try putting America first.
