New York City is once again making headlines, and it’s not for anything good. The city’s First Lady, Rama Duwaji, is under a massive spotlight—and not for her achievements. Past posts from her own social media have surfaced where she praised people linked to terrorism and parroted some of the most shameful anti-American rhetoric out there. That’s right: the woman married to one of NYC’s most powerful leaders once gushed about figures who hate this country.
This is what “leadership” looks like in blue states: people at the pinnacle of local government are tangled up with sympathies for those who target the very freedoms and values that built America. The left loves to preach tolerance, but apparently that means tolerating love for terrorists, too. How is it possible that we keep seeing radicals and their enablers celebrated in liberal strongholds like New York? When America was attacked, everyday citizens stood together—yet now, those in the highest echelons seem to cozy up to our enemies.
Of course, you won’t hear much outrage from the liberal elite. They’d rather focus on “youthful mistakes” than acknowledge the dangerous beliefs hiding behind their trendy slogans. If a conservative ever dared to post anything remotely controversial, the left-wing mob would be calling for resignations, firings, and public shaming. But when it’s their own, suddenly it’s understandable, forgivable, and, of course, “taken out of context.” It’s classic leftist hypocrisy on full display.
And let’s not kid ourselves: this isn’t just about some old posts. These are deep beliefs about America’s place in the world, beliefs that don’t line up with our nation’s interests. The globalist agenda is alive and well among the left—they find excuses for those who hate us, always quick to blame America first, while regular citizens are left to pick up the pieces. Liberal incompetence has let these attitudes fester and infect our country’s leadership from the inside out.
So the question is: how much longer will voters put up with these anti-American sympathizers strutting around city hall and calling the shots? It’s time to wake up and demand better. If you believe America is worth defending, these liberals are making it pretty clear—they don’t have your back.
