California is rotten to the core, and nobody who cares about the truth is safe anymore. Just look at what happened when Nick Shirley tried to shine a light on California’s dirty little secrets. He walked right into a so-called “daycare” in San Diego and barely made it out unscathed. Instead of answers, he got threats. The people pocketing millions from state programs don’t want anyone asking questions. Of course not—because they know the whole thing is a scam.
Here’s the ugly truth: Democrats in California have let fraud fester at every level. Taxpayers pay top dollar so progressive politicians can pat themselves on the back, pretending they care about “the children.” Meanwhile, unlicensed centers pop up everywhere, run by shady characters who won’t answer a single question about what they’re actually doing. The only thing they want from you is your money.
This is “equity” California-style: reward the people who follow the rules with higher taxes, and let the rule-breakers bleed the system dry. If you point out the obvious—like Nick Shirley did—you become the enemy. The Left doesn’t care about protecting kids or keeping communities safe. They just want to protect their precious narrative and keep the federal gravy train rolling, no matter how many children are put at risk.
Worse still, Gavin Newsom and his Sacramento cronies are too busy grandstanding and chasing national headlines to deal with the fallout. They blame everything on “systemic racism” and whine about “inclusion,” but when real crime and fraud stare them in the face, they run for cover. The hypocrisy is staggering.
Nick Shirley is now a target simply for doing the job government refuses to do. When the very people in charge protect fraudsters and attack whistleblowers, you know the system is broken beyond reform. How much more has to rot before California finally admits it’s become a paradise for crooks and a nightmare for honest Americans?
