When it comes to protecting conservatives from danger, the left leans heavily on their “see no evil” act. That’s exactly what’s happening in the twisted saga unfolding in northern Virginia. House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan is turning up the heat on Arlington County prosecutor Parisa Dehghani-Tafti—a darling of the progressive left—after she apparently turned a blind eye to threats and harassment hurled at Stephen Miller, a top conservative voice.
How telling that Jordan had to resort to a formal subpoena just to try to get answers. Why? Because Tafti oversees a case where radical activist Barbara Wien targeted Miller with doxing tactics and intimidation. Instead of standing up against this harassment, the prosecutor’s office did what far too many liberal DAs do—they sat back and watched, hoping the whole thing would blow over. If the tables were turned and a left-wing figure had been threatened, you can bet the progressive outrage machine would have been in full swing. But protect a conservative? They can’t even be bothered to pick up the phone.
It’s no secret that in places like Arlington and Falls Church, justice bends depending on your politics. These liberal enclaves are run by ideologues who think enforcing the law is optional when the victim is someone they disagree with. Tafti and her crew talk a big game about fairness and safety, but when it’s one of their own on the hook—or when their political opponents are in danger—they punt. That’s progressive hypocrisy in action.
Americans are tired of these soft-on-crime prosecutors who cherry-pick which citizens deserve protection. Are our institutions so far gone that conservatives can be threatened, doxed, and harassed without the authorities lifting a finger? Miller’s only “crime” is his conservative viewpoint—which makes him a target, but apparently unworthy of basic legal safeguards, according to the leftist legal mob running the show in Virginia.
Jim Jordan is right to drag this into the sunlight. Someone needs to stand up to the anti-American, globalist agenda infecting our justice system—before it’s too late. When will these progressive prosecutors start protecting Americans, instead of just their own twisted ideology?
