America’s travelers are paying the price for the shameless political games Senate Democrats are playing with national security. While everyday folks scramble just to catch a flight, our so-called leaders in Washington are more interested in making a statement than actually leading.
Think about it: TSA officers haven’t been paid in over a month. Over 300 have quit since mid-February. Who could blame them? And why is this happening? Because almost every Democrat in the Senate refused to fund the full Department of Homeland Security. Only one, John Fetterman, had the backbone to break ranks. The rest? Too busy bowing to their radical base to even pretend they care about safety or common sense.
This isn’t just some budget hiccup. This is a deliberate stall. The Left loves to lecture Americans about “essential workers,” but when it’s time to pay them—or keep airports secure—they slam the brakes. Their priorities are crystal clear: Open borders propaganda and virtue-signaling come before American lives, paychecks, or even basic convenience.
Meanwhile, ordinary citizens struggle to get home, families are stranded, and workers who keep us safe are being forced out. The ruling class doesn’t care—they glide through private lines and luxury terminals while the rest of us suffer. Maybe they think chaos helps them politically, or maybe they’re just that incompetent.
What will it take for these liberal elites to put American safety ahead of their petty politics? Do we need to wait for the last TSA agent to quit, or has the Left simply decided that national security is beneath them? The American people see through the games—and they’re sick of paying the price.
