Mayor Mamdani’s wife tries to erase her hateful past and hopes New Yorkers are too dumb to notice

When it comes to leading New York City, Mayor Mamdani and his wife, Rama Duwaji, seem to think the people are stupid. Duwaji’s so-called “effort” to wipe away her hateful online comments boils down to little more than shutting down a couple of social media accounts. Sorry, that’s not enough. New Yorkers are supposed to just forget what she posted, as if her ideas and words evaporated into thin air with a quick click? That’s not how responsibility works, especially if you want the keys to City Hall.

Liberals always want to sweep filth under the rug. The left loves to preach about “inclusion” and claim the moral high ground, but when the microscope turns on them, suddenly the standards change. Rama Duwaji’s posts weren’t just cringe-worthy; some were downright evil. Yet instead of owning up, she hopes some internet housekeeping will erase her involvement. Mamdani wants to play mayor for all New Yorkers, but his own house isn’t in order. The hypocrisy is staggering.

This is par for the course with the progressive elite. They demand America bows to their radical worldview but think the rules don’t apply to them. If a conservative spouse had posted these things, they’d never hear the end of it. There would be wall-to-wall media coverage, protests, and calls for resignation. But when it’s one of their own, the liberal establishment closes ranks. The double standard is obvious, pathetic, and un-American.

Deleting a couple of accounts isn’t transparency. It’s damage control for globalist interests who want the public silent and their dirty laundry buried. New Yorkers deserve more than smoke and mirrors. If Mamdani and Duwaji truly cared about serving everyone, they’d admit fault, apologize, and work to repair trust. Instead, we get political spin. That’s not leadership—it’s cowardice.

How much longer will New Yorkers fall for liberal tricks? Deleting your social media doesn’t delete your ideas—or your character. If this is what the left calls accountability, maybe they need to learn the real meaning of the word. One has to wonder: if this is what they’re hiding now, what else are they willing to cover up?
