This isn’t some far-off, hypothetical disaster—this is happening right now, thanks to the total collapse of the Cuban regime. When communism fails—and it always does—real people suffer. Interesting how liberals in America still worship socialism as their utopia, while millions of our Cuban neighbors are risking their lives just to escape it. Maybe some left-wing college professors should take a field trip to Havana and see the wonders of breadlines, blackouts, and oppression for themselves.
The Pentagon is on high alert and making plans for mass migrations. They’re getting ready to process thousands—maybe more—of illegal immigrants caught at sea or drifting onto American soil. Meanwhile, Florida is bracing itself for chaos. State leaders are scrambling to protect their shores from another disaster like the Mariel boatlift, when the Cuban regime emptied their prisons and sent America a mess. This time, it’s even more dangerous. While the Biden administration twiddles its thumbs and conjures up another feel-good “deal” with the Cuban dictatorship, Florida stands alone, ready to defend its people.
Yet, as Cubans take to the streets yelling for freedom, leftists in Washington want to blame everything on Trump’s tough sanctions. As usual, liberals ignore the obvious: it’s not the blockade that’s caused the crisis—it’s decades of communist corruption, mismanagement, and abuse. When power cuts across the entire island and brave Cubans trash party offices, do the socialists in D.C. care? Of course not. They’re too busy blaming America and running cover for another Marxist regime.
The truth is, the world is watching the Cuban people demand their liberty while our so-called leaders indulge in backroom deals with thugs. President Trump, unlike Biden and his globalist pals, isn’t afraid to lay down the law. He talks tough and stares down dictators, not sweeten the pot with “negotiations” that reward tyranny. American strength worked before, and it can work again—if only the spineless elites in Washington would get out of the way.
How many more freedom-loving Cubans have to risk their lives to teach Democrats a basic lesson in what really drives people to flee? Socialism destroys. Communism kills. And, once again, it’s up to conservatives to clean up the mess. Maybe the left will finally open their eyes when Castro’s victims start landing on Miami’s beaches—or will they keep singing the praises of failed socialist “paradises” until Florida is swamped and Guantanamo overflows? The choice is clear, but as always, the left is blind.
