Iran Lied, Americans Pay the Price—Liberals Still Don’t Get It
Once again, President Trump was right. Iran, the world’s top sponsor of terror, has been lying to the world—and to the weak-kneed liberals who constantly downplay the threat this regime poses to America. The latest missile attack on the Diego Garcia base didn’t land, but that’s not the headline. What matters is that Iran can now strike more than 4,000 kilometers away, far past the so-called “limit” they promised not to break.
Remember how the left smugly insisted for years that Iran could only target nearby countries? How many diplomatic experts on cable news laughed off the idea that the ayatollahs could ever hit American bases or allies from afar? Well, while they played politics with American lives, Iran was secretly building up their arsenal, waiting for the perfect moment to reveal their new deadly reach. Wishful thinking and endless negotiations didn’t make us safer—it just made it easier for Iran to pull one over on the world stage.
And let’s not forget the parade of Obama-era “experts” who pop up on social media and late-night TV to assure Americans that Iran isn’t a real threat. Where are those brave commentators now? Hiding behind their Twitter accounts, pretending nothing changed, while the proof is staring us right in the face. Being “woke” doesn’t mean understanding the world—it means denying reality, again and again, no matter the cost.
The real kicker? The so-called authorities—career bureaucrats who just left their cushy D.C. jobs—claimed Iran was harmless. That’s not just naive, it’s dangerous. These are the same people who tried to convince the world that endless talking and frilly treaties would magically make the mullahs abandon their death-to-America ambitions. If Americans had listened to them instead of Trump, Diego Garcia—and maybe more—would have been sitting ducks.
This is what happens when globalists and leftists try to play footsie with tyrants. Iran cheats, lies, and threatens free nations—while the left assures us we have nothing to worry about. When is the left going to admit they were wrong? Maybe after the next missile lands close to home. Or will they keep covering for dictators until it’s too late?
