America is facing a serious crisis—not just at the border, but in our higher education system. This latest example out of a college campus proves just how clueless some students are these days. A young woman, who couldn’t even figure out what ICE stands for, demanded harsh punishment for rapists—but then, in the same breath, insisted illegal immigrants who commit these crimes shouldn’t get deported. How does that make any sense?
This is exactly what happens when left-wing ideology pollutes young minds. These students have been spoon-fed absurd slogans about “open borders” and “sanctuary” cities, but can’t connect the most basic dots about what keeps America safe. They want criminals held accountable—unless those criminals are illegal aliens, in which case we’re somehow the bad guys for wanting them removed. How is that protecting Americans?
Let’s be real: ICE exists to get dangerous criminals off our streets, especially those who shouldn’t be in our country in the first place. If you can’t even name what ICE stands for, maybe you shouldn’t be preaching to the rest of us about law enforcement and immigration. But this is what liberal colleges encourage—blind activism without a shred of knowledge or common sense.
This mismatch between liberal outrage and liberal inaction is more than just embarrassing. It’s putting lives at risk. The average American wants rapists out of their community, period. The globalist left just wants endless virtue signaling, even if it means letting criminals stay to hurt more Americans. And people wonder why trust in academia and the political left is at an all-time low.
Here’s a thought: Instead of marching around campus chanting hashtags, maybe spend a minute learning what the agencies keeping us safe actually do. Or is that too much to ask for the woke generation?
