The SAVE Act, a common-sense bill that would require proof of citizenship to vote, should be a slam dunk. Americans know our elections need protecting. In fact, voter ID enjoys sky-high support, even with black voters, who the left always claims to speak for. Harvard polling puts approval at 71 percent. Democrats know this bill stops their scheming. So, of course, they panic.
Now Murkowski joins the circus, pretending to care about election integrity but quietly pushing for a ridiculous loophole. She wants anyone born before 1961 to skip the simple step of showing proof they’re citizens at the polls. That’s right. If you were born before the moon landing, you get a free pass. What’s next? Exempting anyone with gray hair? This is the type of cracked logic that lets voter fraud slip through.
It’s almost funny. Murkowski once backed these same voter protections, but now that Trump is coming back strong, she flips like a pancake. Suddenly, she gets cold feet and starts nitpicking little details instead of taking a stand. Voters are not stupid—everyone sees through this weak sauce.
Democrats scream about Jim Crow every election year, but here’s a clue: black voters overwhelmingly support the SAVE Act. The only thing the left hates more than photo ID is losing their grip on power. They’ll cry racism over a law that actually levels the playing field. Meanwhile, Murkowski tries to split the difference, hoping nobody notices her cowardice.
Let’s call this what it is—another spineless attempt to water down a bill with massive public backing. While regular Americans demand election security, politicians like Murkowski hide behind petty amendments. Whose side is she really on? Maybe it’s time to stop electing people who bend over backwards to help liberals keep cheating.
