Airports across America are a disaster zone right now, and you can thank the Democrats for that chaos. Instead of doing their job and funding the Department of Homeland Security, liberals in Washington are too busy playing political games. The TSA, which is supposed to guard our airport security, is running on fumes because the left refuses to open the government’s checkbook for things that actually protect American lives.
Here’s the ugly truth: when Democrats don’t get exactly what they want, they’d rather let the country suffer than give an inch to commonsense security measures. Their priorities are as mixed up as ever— handouts for illegal aliens and pet projects get all the love, but when it comes to protecting families at the airport, suddenly they clam up. Is anyone surprised?
Thankfully, some adults are still in the room. ICE is now being sent in to help pull TSA’s weight at airports. While liberals moan about imaginary threats at the border, they ignore the real-world disasters happening in our own terminals. The men and women of ICE are getting deployed because the left’s refusal to fund basic security has created a massive mess. Americans should not have to deal with flight delays, safety risks, or chaos just to satisfy the anti-border crowd in Congress.
This is what happens when Democrats let their hatred of law enforcement and obsession with open borders get in the way of real leadership. The same crowd that claims to care about “national security” turns a blind eye to everyday Americans struggling to get through checkpoints. They’d rather fight for illegals than for citizens trying to get to work or visit family.
Ask yourself: Is it really that hard to fund what keeps us safe? Or is it just that, for some on the left, our safety comes dead last? Liberals made this bed—now they’ll have to watch as ICE steps up and does the job they refused to do. Maybe next time, Democrats will remember that America comes first.
