It’s official: the swamp never misses a chance to show just how out of touch it is. This week, Senator Lindsey Graham decided to lecture Americans about why they should be prepared to sacrifice blood and treasure in another foreign war. While most folks are desperate for peace — especially after decades of disastrous Middle East policies led by globalists and warmongers — Graham is busy rattling his saber, telling President Trump to send American soldiers to fight Iran, as if the world hasn’t had enough senseless wars.
Here’s the thing the establishment doesn’t get: our sons and daughters are not cannon fodder for the ruling class’s next geopolitical adventure. Graham went so far as to compare his vision for an Iran conflict to the carnage at Iwo Jima, one of the bloodiest battles in World War Two. Apparently, he thinks it’s perfectly reasonable for Americans to brace themselves for catastrophic losses — all for a fight that has nothing to do with keeping families safe at home.
Thank goodness there are still patriots like Anna Paulina Luna who will stand up and call out this insanity, even when fellow Republicans lose their heads. Luna and a few other brave conservatives are holding the line, demanding accountability and demanding that politicians stop treating war like a political chess game. She’s right to say that it’s unacceptable for any senator to casually talk about American casualties as if they’re just numbers on a page. That kind of talk shows exactly what’s wrong with Washington.
It’s time for so-called leaders — on both sides — to stop bending the knee to the military industrial complex, the same crowd that lines their pockets while ordinary people pay the bill in blood. Neo-cons, liberals, and globalists have all played this game before: light a match overseas, and expect hardworking Americans pick up the tab. Worse yet, it always seems to line up perfectly with the Democrats’ playbook of endless chaos, open borders, and anti-American priorities.
The American people are watching, and we’re sick of the lies, the double-speak, and the endless wars. Why should we sign up to lose another generation of heroes in the sands of some foreign desert? Isn’t it about time we fought for Main Street instead of Tehran?
