Another Innocent American Lost—And the Media Yawns
Another young American is dead, and the liberal media couldn’t care less. Sheridan Gorman, an 18-year-old college student in Chicago, was walking with friends when she was brutally shot and killed. But because her killer is an illegal alien, the story gets smothered. If you watch the mainstream news—or the leftist lapdog networks—they’d rather not cover tragedies like these. Why? Because it puts their open-borders agenda under the spotlight. Sheridan’s murder is practically a repeat of the Laken Riley case, and the radical left wants it buried.
The facts are simple. Sheridan’s accused killer is Jose Medina, a 25-year-old Venezuelan who wasn’t even supposed to be in the country. He had already been arrested for shoplifting. But instead of being deported, he was released thanks to sanctuary city policies in Chicago. So, he was free to kill an innocent American girl. This is what happens when Democrats roll out the welcome mat for illegal aliens and tie the hands of law enforcement.
Liberals love to screech that “Americans commit crimes too.” Of course, criminals exist everywhere. But here’s the truth they ignore: if we enforced our immigration laws, Sheridan would still be alive. There is no way to justify these deaths. Every one of these tragedies is preventable. But to the radical left, protecting American lives takes a back seat to making sure illegal aliens feel “welcomed.” How many more families need to bury their children before Democrats admit their open-borders fantasy is a nightmare for real Americans?
The globalist elites and their media stooges want you distracted. They’ll obsess over anything except the failures that make their friends richer and our neighborhoods more dangerous. Let’s face it—without a stream of illegal immigrants, the Democratic party loses power. So of course, they look the other way while Americans pay the ultimate price. Sanctuary cities like Chicago are nothing but safe havens for criminals, all so Democrats can pat themselves on the back for being “compassionate.”
Enough is enough. Illegals who break the law should be hunted down and deported, no exceptions. The blood of Sheridan Gorman, like Laken Riley before her, is on the hands of every cowardly politician who refuses to defend our borders. Why should any American parent have to fear for their children just because Democrats care more about foreign lawbreakers than the lives of their own citizens?
