California is falling apart—and Hollywood knows it. Even comedians are waking up to the disaster pouring out of Sacramento and Los Angeles. David Spade, the famously sharp-tongued Saturday Night Live veteran, didn’t pull any punches recently. He took aim straight at Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass, refusing to sugarcoat the train wreck that is California’s so-called “leadership.” When you lose the funny guys, you know you’re doing something wrong.
Instead of admitting their failures, Newsom and his liberal cronies just keep doubling down. They watch as Hollywood, once the beating heart of American entertainment, slips into the gutter. Streets that used to be busy and alive now look empty. The “exciting” city is barely hanging on, and it’s no secret why. The endless Democrat policies—soft on crime, hard on working families—are slowly choking the city to death.
The leaders of California, like Newsom and Bass, want us to believe their woke agenda is the way forward. Meanwhile, real people are fleeing the state, studios are closing, and the only folks cheering are globalist elites betting on Hollywood’s collapse. It’s not just about movies. It’s about the American dream—once alive on every stage and screen, now being strangled with red tape and failed promises.
Let’s face it, California should be a shining example of freedom and prosperity. The left promised paradise, but all they delivered was decay. From out-of-control homelessness to skyrocketing crime, the evidence is right there for everyone to see. Instead of fixing problems, these Democrats stick their heads in the sand—and then act surprised when even liberal comics start roasting them.
David Spade didn’t hold back, and he shouldn’t have to. America can’t afford more Newsom-style leadership. If even Hollywood legends are pointing out how bad things have gotten, maybe it’s finally time for California’s Democrats to take a big step back and let responsible, pro-American adults get the job done. Or will they just keep laughing while the Golden State burns?
