Funny how liberals call it “propaganda” whenever a conservative president actually demands loyalty and patriotic messaging, but when leftists run the show and turn every public outlet into Democrat cheerleaders, suddenly there’s no outcry.
It’s rich watching DC’s media elite accuse President Trump of hijacking Voice of America when for years, this outlet acted like the international PR wing of the Obama-Biden White House. The so-called journalists up in arms about these changes are the same ones who never blinked when their bosses pushed a watered-down, guilt-ridden, America-last narrative overseas. Now, the second real leadership shows up with a spine—and expects journalists to stop tearing down our country from the inside—they panic.
Let’s be honest: most Americans aren’t exactly tuning in to Voice of America with their morning coffee. The truth is, for a long time it’s been a bloated, unaccountable agency, costing our nation a fortune to pump out globalist news to the world. When Republicans try to trim the fat, bring in oversight, and dare to shift the message toward something positive about this country’s ideals, Democrats and their media lackeys immediately start flailing. They’d rather destroy the agency than let it out of their control.
It’s beyond irony. The left, so terrified of their monopoly on public messaging, label anything they disagree with as “authoritarian” or “anti-democratic.” But who really wants to muzzle debate and block patriotic ideas? These so-called journalists, who think it’s their mission to undermine every conservative reform by running to activist judges with lawsuits, instead of actually doing their jobs. The deep state is alive and well, and it’s throwing a tantrum because someone finally stood up to them.
If anything, this chaos proves just how badly we need leaders who aren’t afraid to shake things up. America first needs to mean something again—even on taxpayer-funded airwaves. If liberals are afraid of a little bit of honest, pro-American messaging, maybe they’re the ones with something to hide. Why do they always panic when the truth about our greatness gets aired?
