Something is seriously wrong at America’s airports, and the facts prove it. Another deadly collision just happened at LaGuardia, and all the experts can do is shrug. They point fingers at “staffing” and whine about “systems” breaking down. But here’s the real question—why can’t the government, with all its billions of our tax dollars, keep airplanes from colliding on the ground?
This is not just one freak event. At Newark not long ago, there was a near disaster—planes coming far too close for comfort. If you dig even deeper, these so-called “runway incursions” happen all the time, with hundreds of dangerous incidents every single year. The families who use these airports for work and travel are being put at risk, while bureaucrats in Washington make excuses.
The left loves to boast about their “big government” solutions. They throw money at every problem, promising safety in exchange for more power. Yet, with air traffic control, their band-aid fixes are failing. While liberals keep talking about overhauling the system, they can’t even figure out how to properly staff the towers. Meanwhile, globalist interests want to centralize these systems even more, taking control farther away from the hands of real Americans.
Let’s be honest: This is government incompetence on steroids. The same people who can’t secure our border or balance a budget want us to trust them with our lives at crowded airports. As long as big government calls the shots, Americans will always be the ones in danger while the elites fly first class, insulated from the chaos they create.
How many wake-up calls do we need before someone takes actual responsibility? Maybe it’s time to stop letting the same crowd that botched everything from public safety to border control run our air traffic systems. If they can’t keep planes from crashing at LaGuardia, what makes anyone think they can handle anything else? How many more close calls before the American people demand real answers?
