Washington, D.C. just sent a real shockwave through the swamp. Markwayne Mullin, a fighter who actually believes in law and order, has been confirmed as the new boss at the Department of Homeland Security. After years of watching liberals run DHS like a woke daycare center—ignoring our wide-open southern border, letting in criminals, and putting American lives last—someone finally broke through the Democrat blockade.
But of course, the vote was a circus. Almost every single Democrat tried to block Mullin, clinging to their failed open-border policies. Only two—yes, just two—Democrats had the guts to break with their party and back a candidate who might actually put Americans first. It’s a pathetic excuse for bipartisanship, but at least it proves not every liberal has completely lost their mind.
Meanwhile, let’s talk about Rand Paul. The so-called “independent thinker” managed to vote no on Mullin’s confirmation. That’s right, a fellow Republican decided to stick with the grandstanding rather than join the fight to secure our country. It’s maddening—and it’s exactly this kind of inside-the-Beltway nonsense that keeps our border in crisis.
The left loves to talk about “democracy” and “bipartisan cooperation,” but when it comes to securing our nation, their true agenda shows. They’d rather keep pandering to radical activists and globalist donors, all while turning a blind eye to the fentanyl, cartels, and human traffickers flowing across our borders. Normal Americans have had enough.
With Mullin leading DHS, maybe—just maybe—the tide will turn. Will Democrats finally realize that their open-borders experiment is a disaster? Or will they keep standing in the way of security, sovereignty, and sanity? The answer seems obvious: liberals can’t handle anyone putting America first.
