This is the guy who lectures Americans about the evils of capitalism from the safety and luxury of his multi-million dollar home in Los Angeles. It’s almost a comedy routine at this point. He’s not hurting for cash. He’s cashing in—and he’s not shy about it.
Now, Piker’s latest act is jet-setting down to Cuba, posing as some revolutionary hero. But who benefits when someone like him snaps selfies with communist officials? Certainly not the Cuban people, who have suffered under decades of socialist ruin. Instead, Piker props up a regime known for stifling freedom and crushing dissent. Somehow, promoting these failed ideas to his American followers is supposed to make him a fighter for justice.
Let’s get real. When spoiled millionaires like Piker cozy up to dictators, it’s not about solidarity with the poor. It’s about stroking egos and appearing “woke” online. The hypocrisy jumps off the page. He claims to hate capitalism while living the kind of lifestyle real socialists would ban him from ever enjoying. Meanwhile, ordinary Cubans scrape by, forbidden from chasing even a small piece of the “evil” wealth Hasan takes for granted every day.
This is what radical leftism has become: empty slogans at home, vacation adventures with communists abroad. And of course, it’s all cheered on by the same anti-American crowd that bashes this country while reaping the rewards of its freedom. The left talks about inequality—then turns a blind eye when their own heroes hoard wealth or support oppressive regimes. Funny how nobody on that side wants to talk about that.
Hasan Piker is just another rich kid playing dress-up with other people’s misery, all while living the high life. If this is the poster boy for modern Marxism, is there any better proof the left has lost the plot?
